What do the following have in common?

  1. Steam Engine
  2. Trains
  3. Internal combustion engine
  4. Telephone
  5. Electricity
  6. Telegraph
  7. Light bulb
  8. Photography
  9. Sewing machine
  10. Toilet paper--I understand there were bigger inventions than this, but where would we be without it.
These are some of the biggest inventions of the 19th century-- some of which we take for granted today, but they made a new impact on people's lives at the time.

What do the following have in common?

  1. Computer and internet
  2. Cars
  3. Planes
  4. Rockets
  5. Medicine--antibiotics & polio vaccine
  6. Radio and TV
  7. Helicopters
  8. Movies
  9. Cell phones
  10. Rock and roll --changed the world
Of course you may have guessed this list is things from the 20th century.

What do the following have in common?

  1. Flying cars
  2. Robot workers (finally I can have a maid)
  3. Nanotechnology
  4. Hologram TV
  5. Food replicators (just like Star Trek)
  6. Teleportation (just like Star Trek)
  7. Electricity clothes--just moving around can charge your ipod
  8. Space colonies
  9. Green homes
  10. Waterless washing
Of course these are just the few thing I would love now, and hopefully will be real in the future.

People (like me) will always want newer, cooler stuff.
I am happy though with everything I have, but new technology is always around the corner beckoning to me.
Out of everything on this page I love the maid best. Maybe one day!
